  • Steve Trenholm

Handling our public relation- (guy that answers the phone) and top-notch wrench would be Steve Trenholm from Buena Vista Colorado. Randy and Steve grew up together in Pennsylvania. Steve has worked in the motorcycle field and even owned a dealership, some years back. He has raced motorcycles since a very young age and only gave it up just some 5 years ago, somewhere around age 70. Steve will also be joining in on some rides as a tail dragger. Steve too has been riding for about 5 years and currently rides a KTM 450.

  • John "JB" Ballard

Our second guide is John “JB” Ballard. JB has a major motorcycle problem, which he developed as a child and continues to nurture as an adult. JB spent 24 years in the US Army, which allowed him to ride his Harleys all over the USA and Europe. JB started racing “accidentally” when his son was 7 years old, when JB was forced to buy him a dirtbike since Harley doesn’t make bikes for 7 year olds. JB met Steve in those racing years, which is when JB put snowbikes on his bucket list. JB “accidentally” got a job as a backcountry snowbike guide in Colorado while on a vacation became permanent! Originally from Maine, JB brings three years of guiding experience with him working for Rocky Mountain adventure rentals based out of Buena Vista. Last winter he guided snowbikers 3-4days a week. In the Summer, JB works as a certified MSF RiderCoach and a registered Maine guide. He too rides a KTM 450 (snow and dual sport) and a Harley Electraglide Classi.
